Afternoon Break - Prints Available

This is a painting of one of my favorite spots, this was our old tack shed at our cow camp in the high country. My Dad and I had been out checking pastures and came across a spot where the fence was down. We repaired what we could but ran out of wire, so back to camp we went. Got more wire and went back to work.

I was waiting for him out by the horses, the afternoon sun shining through the trees and the patterns on the leaves was beyond beautiful!

It looked like a sea of gold, I knew that it would have to be a painting some day.

What a beautiful fall day it was and a dear memory of working with my Dad.
